Ballybeag Cottages
Terms & Conditions
The owner/proprietor of the cottages is Ballybeag Cottages Limited.
A deposit of 25% is required to confirm a booking. A confirmation will be issued on receipt of the deposit. The balance will be payable at arrival/check in and charges for electricity (which is metered) will be payable at departure.
A security deposit (either a signed credit card docket or cash) will be required at check in. This deposit of €200 will be returned at departure, providing everything is in order.
Throughout peak season (June, July & August) all bookings will be on a Saturday to Saturday basis. More flexible arrangements may be available for the remainder of the year. All cottages must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure and arrivals are permitted any time after 4.00 p.m. on the day of arrival
The number of guests (including children) stated on the booking form may not be exceeded without the express permission of the owner.
The owner is not responsible for any loss or damage to client’s property left in the cottage during the stay or following departure.
On departure the cottage must be left exactly as it was on arrival. If you have difficulty with any item on arrival please bring it to our attention immediately. Any damage or loss to the property or contents will be charged to the client. A comprehensive inventory is located in the kitchen of each property.
The cottage must be left clean and tidy on departure. The owner reserves the right to levy a charge for cleaning if this condition is not fulfilled.
The owner may terminate the rental of the cottage without refund in the event of the client causing serious nuisance or disturbance.
In the event of cancellation, the booking deposit will be returned in full providing the cancellation is notified and acknowledged at least six weeks prior to the date of arrival.
For a cancellation notified and acknowledged less than six weeks but at least four weeks prior to the date of arrival the deposit will be forfeited with no further charge. For a cancellation notified less than four weeks prior to the date of arrival or for a no-show the deposit will be forfeited and the full balance of the booking will be chargeable to the client.
